Kegels hardly ever help people fix incontinence because of compliance more than anything else. I’m too lazy to stop and do kegels, are you? Plus they tighten what is often an overly tight pelvic bowl already. Getting the tissue loose and the blood flowing into the muscles instead of just keeping a lock on the system is an option I want you to consider. And in a moment, I’ll readdress the muscle activation in a new way. But first I want to tell you about a device that uses NMS and PMW, which stand for NeuroMuscular Stimulation and Pre-Modulated Waves. These technologies are part of a group of healing modalities in the bigger category of neuromodulation.

Stay with me. It’s not that complex AND it is a system that works better for fixing incontinence issues such as overactive bladder OAB, leaking and urge incontinence. These are wave forms that stimulate the muscles of the pelvic bowl while reconnecting the neural signals from bladder to brain. This is what will stop your peeing issues.

With overactive bladder, the kind where your bladder fires without permission and gives you about thirty seconds to find a toilet or make a very unfortunate decision, Kegels are not the right tool. Squeezing a muscle that is already in a state of urgency does not calm a bladder that has decided it is in charge. You need a different signal entirely.

ELITONE sends that signal.

Here is what happens inside your body during a twenty-minute session with the standard ELITONE device. The cycle runs in twelve-second loops. Four seconds of a medium-frequency toning signal contracts your pelvic floor muscles. Two seconds of a low-frequency calming signal then quiets the overactive bladder. Six seconds of rest follows. Then it repeats. The toning and the calming happen in the same session, which is why ELITONE works for mixed incontinence, the most common presentation, where weak muscles and an overactive bladder are running the show together.

If your primary issue is pure urgency, the ELITONE URGE is designed specifically for that. It delivers six seconds of the low-frequency calming signal followed by six seconds of rest, repeated for the full twenty minutes, with no toning contraction at all. You will not feel your muscles firing. What you feel instead, over weeks of consistent use, is your bladder becoming quieter, less reactive, and more obedient.

The reason this works comes down to the Pre-Modulated Waveform, or PMW. Sending any electrical signal through skin, fat, and tissue into deep pelvic muscle is genuinely difficult. Most devices cannot do it comfortably. ELITONE uses a high-frequency carrier wave to travel past those outer barriers, then modulates down to the precise frequency needed to either contract or calm the target tissue. The high frequency gets past the door. The modulated waveform does the work inside.

so is this like bio-feedback devices. Post knee surgeries they often use seemingly similar devices to wake up, retrain and strengthen the muscles that stabilize the knee cap?
